Thanks to funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, free breakfast and lunch are available to all Osseo Area Schools students until further notice.
In-person meals
Free breakfast and lunch will be available to in-person learners for the remainder of the school year. Learn more about the free meals. Prekindergarten through grade 2 students are currently scheduled to return to full-time in-person learning on Jan. 19, and students in grades 3-5 are scheduled to return to full-time in-person learning on Feb. 1.
Curbside meals
Curbside meals will continue to be available at all sites that are in the full distance learning model; currently, this applies to all sites, but beginning Jan. 19, this will only apply to secondary sites in the district.
Hours for curbside meal pick-up are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A pack of meals for the weekend will be provided on Fridays. All children who reside in the district are eligible to receive free curbside meals, regardless of their enrollment in Osseo Area Schools. Children do not need to be present at meal pick-up.
If you are unable to pick up meals curbside and would like meals provided to you, or you are unable to pick up meals daily but would still like to receive them, please call 763-315-7691 and our Nutrition Services team will arrange an alternate way to provide your family with meals.
Distance Learning Academy meals
Free 7-day meal boxes are available for pick-up on Fridays for students enrolled in the Distance Learning Academy (DLA). The meal boxes contain seven breakfasts and seven lunches intended to be consumed the following Monday – Sunday. The menu reflects the same offerings that are made available to non-DLA students.
Please note: The free 7-day meal boxes are available only on a pre-order basis. If you would like to receive meal boxes, you must sign up by 12 p.m. on Thursday the week prior to your first pickup to allow time for processing and meal preparation. Once you have signed up, meals will continue to be prepared for you weekly. If you wish to stop receiving meal boxes, you must cancel by 12 p.m. on the Thursday the week prior to the following week’s Friday meal box.
