Fourth grade students at Rush Creek Elementary School recently had the opportunity to learn about the Elm Creek Watershed in their classrooms by participating in interactive activities.
For more than 25 years, Osseo Area Schools has put on one of the largest education-based powwows in the state. With more than 500 Native American students and 90 tribes represented, the powwow brings more than 1,000 people together for a celebration of culture and history.
District 279 Foundation's Investment in Youth celebration took place on Sunday, May 1. The event recognizes the many achievements and success stories of the students, staff, and volunteers in Osseo Area Schools. The program will be replayed on CCX Media Channel 20 or Channel 859 through Comcast Cable.
On Tuesday, April 26, Osseo Area Schools sent an email to transportation eligible families detailing a new process that will require parents/caregivers of transportation eligible students to declare how their student will be getting to and from school. At least 5000 responses have been received.
