Drop-Off & Pickup

The front parking lot will be designated for buses ONLY from 9:05-9:35 a.m. and 3:40-4:10 p.m. daily. No vehicles will be
allowed in the front of the school from 9:05-9:35 a.m. and 3:40-4:10 p.m. If you need to drop your students off late or
pick them up early you will need to ensure that you are not in the parking lot during these arrival and dismissal times.
The gate at the top of the hill will be locked. Kindergarten students will be met by staff in the front and back of the
school to assist them in getting to their class.

All walkers can begin to arrive at the front of the building starting at 9:15AM. All walkers will be dismissed at the 4:00 p.m. bell each day. If you are walking to the school to pick up your student at the end of the day, you will need to notify your student’s teacher that they are a FRONT DOOR walker, and you will meet them on the front sidewalk.

Staff in back at parent pick-up WILL NOT be calling students for families that are not in vehicles. Please have your students meet you in the front of the school at the 4:00 p.m. dismissal bell.

Parent curbside drop off and walker arrival will begin at 9:15 a.m. each day. All parent drop-offs will occur at the back of the building. Staff will be present to dismiss students from vehicles and allow students into the building starting at 9:15 a.m. The lot will open at 9:15 a.m., please do not arrive early. If you arrive before 9:15 a.m., you are required to park in the Parent Parking lot until the lot opens. Parents are not allowed to park near the gate or in the entrance lane of traffic of the school. The entrance to the school cannot be blocked by standing vehicles. It is a community safety concern, and it is illegal to block an intersection.

• Review the map of the location for drop-off/pick-up on the back
• Please follow the directions of the crossing guard and staff on duty
• Stay in your vehicle and proceed along the curb to the DROP OFF ZONE
• Your child should unload from the vehicle in the DROP OFF ZONE on the curbside only
• No students will be allowed to line up outside the front or back doors so please do not arrive before 9:15
• As you exit the back of the building you are required to yield to buses

• Rush Creek families may arrive for curbside pickup in the back of the building at 3:55 p.m.
• Please stay in your vehicle and follow the directions of the crossing guard and staff on duty
• Pull forward into one of three lanes and display your child’s grade, first and last name using the orange sign provided by the school in your windshield
• All students will load from the curbside
• As you exit the back of the building you are required to yield to buses
